The Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI) proudly celebrates Brigadier-General Sani Kukasheka Usman (rtd), mni, fnipr, fapra, fnarc, FIOARM, fspsp, as he marks another year of life and service.

As a former Director of Army Public Relations and Spokesman of the Nigerian Army, Brigadier-General Usman distinguished himself through professionalism, integrity, and effective civil-military communication. His service as National Publicity Secretary of AANI further reflected his commitment to excellence, discipline, and strategic leadership.

Described as a bridge-builder and unifier, he is admired for his humility, loyalty, and dedication to mentorship. His recent recognition with the “Sentinel of Freedom Service Award” stands as a testament to his lifelong commitment to peace, stability, and national cohesion.
